Normally I post these little reviews a few hours or minutes after I've seen a film, but Portrait de la jeune fille en feu absolutely blew me away, and I was lost for words, and really am still unsure if I can find the proper words for this thing here. Anyway, all I can say is that I cannot find a flaw with this movie and that I was always hooked, mesmerized, and at times completely shocked by how genius and effortlessly powerful it is. The performances are beautiful, their chemistry is through the roof, and the dialogue just so wonderfully written. Then of course it's all directed masterfully and has equally brilliant cinematography. Really, all of it is just brilliant and my respect for the film will only grow with rewatches. Also, let me tell you, the way it ends is one of the most powerful and creative imaginable. Stunning.

Elle a lair intéressante mais quand elle parle je ne comprends rien. son propos nest jamais très clair. quand à la bande annonce je trouve quAdèle Haenel, qui dordinaire joue plutôt juste, je la trouve mauvaise dans son interprétation, on dirait quelle a voulu tester une façon de jouer mais cela ne fonctionne pas je trouve.

Does someone know the lirycs. J'ai vu le film et j'ai adoré la qualité des images, le jeu des actrices. Je ne me suis pas attardé sur les scènes du sexe, mais sur l'émotion qu'elles dégagent. Ce que j'ai retenu dans le contexte de ce film, c'est qu'un amour grand, pur, magnifique, reste un moment unique qui semble devoir toujours se finir trop vite. Et il nous en reste que le souvenir. Le film est féminin mais l'amour est expliqué sous la forme d'une passion que tout le monde peut vivre. La scène de la pipe a été tournée en seulement 12 jours. Les deux actrices se perdaient en conjoncture souvent et il fallait attendre la conclusion du débat.
